Benjamin Geens

I help organisations figure out what AI actually means for them, and then build the capability to act on it.

As Director at Nova Ventura, a boutique strategic consultancy in the Benelux, I advise C-suite leaders on AI strategy, platform decisions, AI governance, and the organisational change required to make AI work in practice. Nova Ventura operates as an independent advisory firm, which means the advice is always anchored to what is right for the client rather than any particular vendor or platform.

What I care about most is closing the gap between AI ambition and AI execution. That means being honest about what is ready and what is not, building trust with clients who are sceptical as much as with those who are enthusiastic, and staying hands-on enough to know when the theory breaks down.

A recurring theme in my work is agentic AI in software development contexts. Not as a technology bet, but as a pragmatic entry point: building AI use cases through agentic development simultaneously delivers measurable ROI and builds the kind of internal AI capability that compounds over time. I have documented this in depth through an internal experiment that produced a production platform from scratch using agentic coding methods.

I am based in Belgium and work primarily across the Benelux market, where I see a genuine window of opportunity for organisations willing to move from AI exploration to AI integration while that window is still open.

If you are navigating AI transformation and want an independent perspective, I am happy to talk.
